ITC Zapf Chancery was created by German type designer Hermann Zapf in 1979, and is among about thirty fonts created by Zapf. This font is an elegant and highly legible script font that has been widely used and very popular for design in invitations, diplomas, awards, greeting cards, etc. The reason for it' s popularity is due to its high legibility amongst other very ornate and complicated script fonts.
